Worldpak specializes in the manufacturing and converting of high barrier films. We have a wide variety of coextruded films, consisting in varying ranges of 3, 5, 7 and 9 layers. Our facilities have the latest, state of the art technology to give you the most advanced material for your packaging needs.
Our three main coextruded films we manufacture are:
- Nylon Co Extrusion Film
- EVOH Co Extrusion Film
- PVDC Co Extrusion Film
Their superior toughness, stiffness and puncture resistance are well suited for packaging meat, poultry, seafood, dairy, coffee, fresh, refrigerated or frozen food. Our Nylon and EVOH films are safe for either high-temperature sterilization, retort, or microwave applications.
Each perform well as excellent oxygen, aroma and flavor barriers; have outstanding oil resistance for use with oily or fatty products and share a transparent and glossy appearance.
Typical applications for these films are used for, deep draw thermoforming, vaccum packaging, MAP and automatic filling, retort* applications.
*PA and EVOH film can also be used for microwavable or retort food and have the water quench film technology.
